Vitamin A is one of the biggest components in wrinkle cream. Of course, every product would like you to believe that it will smooth away wrinkles. Many of these products are deceptive and want you to believe they work when they don’t. Some wrinkle removing creams include little tiny pieces of glitter. The glitter is used because it will reflect the light out of the creases of your skin. This will make it look like your wrinkles are gone. Naturally, if you use these creams, when you wash your face you are washing away your younger looking skin.

You need to know the effects of vitamin A if you are going to be using anti-aging creams. Vitamin A also goes by the name retinol. You use it to get rid of wrinkles. You should be patient though, because the process may take a few days or a week. But have no fear. The change will come.

Retinol causes skin to stay elastic. Also, it can help your skin retain moisture. It can even, in some cases, be used to “plump” wrinkles so that they are stretched full, tight and smooth.

However, retinol does have some risks you need to be made aware of. The biggest complication would be sun sensitivity. Taking vitamin A or using it topically can make you very sensitive to the sun. If you go out for very long on a sunny day you can get burned. But if you are so worried about fighting wrinkles anyway, you shouldn’t be outside without sunblock on.

Retinol has the potential to create issues for people with sensitive skin. You can develop breakouts and dry skin in addition to removing wrinkles, when you use vitamin A. But, this usually only happens when people overdo the vitamin A treatments. But if you concerned about using your vitamin A product test it first. Place a tiny bit there two times a day for a week. If you do not have any redness or inflammation then you should be just fine. Nevertheless, you must still pay close attention to your skin to make sure you are in good shape.

Last but not least, my final warning. Always follow the directions! If you don’t care what you put on your skin then don’t use vitamin A. This vitamin is for people who are very serious about their beauty. Vitamin A, when used the right way, can permanently remove all wrinkles, most of the time.
